About Me

The University of Texas at Austin • Humanizing Technology • Student-Centered

I graduated from Rowlett High School in North Texas before earning a full-ride scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Arts and Entertainment Technologies with Special Honors and a minor in Educational Psychology. During my time at UT, I volunteered in childcare, tutored both younger students and classmates, and participated in mental and physical health initiatives. In 2020, I assisted professors in transitioning courses from in-person to asynchronous formats, an experience that ignited my passion for educational technology and helping students navigate new ways of learning.

Encouraged by mentors who believed in my potential, I went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and later earned teaching certifications in Early Childhood and Technology Applications. I now serve as a substitute teacher and truly enjoy working with elementary students, where curiosity, creativity, and growth are part of every day. My experiences in special education, leadership, health advocacy, college readiness, fine arts, and technology allow me to connect with and support a wide range of learners.

I live in Kyle, Texas, with my fiancé and our young daughter. Outside of teaching, I love watching space documentaries, reading science fiction, staying active, studying for certification exams, and building miniature model homes.

Stay tuned for some fun personal projects in the works!
